More than 5,000 entrepreneurs and delegates from different countries of the world participated in the annual Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-driven business fair, otherwise known as 2018 Connect Nigeria e-business, fair in Lagos.
The Chief Executive Officer of Connect Nigeria, who is also the convener of the fair, Emeka Okafor, described the 2018 edition of the fair as another innovative drive aimed at making Small and Medium Scale (SME) business owners tap into the numerous opportunities inherent in ICT to grow their businesses.
“Once again, our annual e-Business Fair lived up to the expectations of its participants, and this for us, is in line with our objectives of giving to everyone, the requisite knowledge, information and ideas required to grow their businesses. Aside the SME owners and exhibitors, different speakers, delegates and our sponsors who also participated in this year’s edition of the fair have done quite well. This to us proves once more that indeed Nigeria is not been left behind in the global quest of having an ICT-driven economy,” Okafor said.
