At least six people were reportedly injured, while a tractor, a motorcycle and other valuables were burnt in two land disputes between Dakumi and Gbage communities and Katakpa and Elegi villages in Lapai LGA of Niger State.
It was learnt that two people were injured in the clash between Dakumi and Gbage and four in the one between Katakpa and Elegi over land tussles pending in court.
Residents told City & Crime that four of the victims were admitted at the Gulu General Hospital.
The residents called on the state government and the state police command to intervene before the crises got out of hand.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the police command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who confirmed the incident, said two suspects had been arrested, adding that effort was on to arrest the other perpetrators.
