Queen Bey turns 35 this month! Or 48 if you’re one of the barmy theorists that believes she has been lying about her age. Yes, the Internet is full of crazy conspiracies surrounding your favourite songstress and to mark this royal occasion, we’ve rounded up 6 of the most ridiculous.
Beyoncé is actually Solange’s mother
You read that right and according to some random guy on the Internet (who apparently has the star’s ‘scorned cousin’ as a valid source), Beyoncé Giselle Knowles is actually the mother to her 30-year-old sibling. Thus making Bey a grandmother to Solonge’s 13 year old son and the youngest person ever on the planet to bear a child.
Now while their resemblance is uncanny, this theory is virtually impossible as Ms. Carter would have only been five-years-old when she gave birth if this was legit. Also, we’re not taking this guy’s word for gospel as he apparently has some equally weird and wonderful dirt on Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson too. With so many secrets to spill, why hasn’t this guy been given his own reality show?
Beyoncé ‘killed Joan Rivers’
Beyoncé proved she had a darker side when she went HAM on that car with a baseball bat in the ‘Hold Up’ video. And we all know she has a wild alter ego. But could Sasha Fierce actually be capable of murder in the first degree?
That’s what a legion of frankly nutty co-conspirators are suggesting. After the sad passing of comedy legend Joan Rivers in 2014, theorists were quick to point the finger at Bey.
Why, you ask? Because Joan’s last ever tweet suspiciously threw shade at the “Diva” singer and the mystery surrounding that elevator incident. When you mix in the fact that Rivers was born in 1933 and Bey had just turned 33 that same year it all starts to become a little too convenient – at least according to the internet.
She is a highly ranked member of the illuminati and ‘recruiting members for satan’
Who run the world? Beyoncé – along with the rest of the Illuminati, apparently.
While every celeb under the sun has been associated with the mysterious cult, none seem to be as prominent as Queen Bey. The superstar is rumoured to be an elite member of the elusive group.
One internet theorist even suggested that her name is an anagram for “Eulb Yvi” which apparently translates to the name of Lucifer’s daughter in Latin. The other claim is that Blue Ivy stands for “Born Living Under Evil Illuminati’s Very Youngest”. We mean, when you put it like that it must be true, right?
You’ve been warned; next time you’re at a Beyoncé concert and she tells you to get information and you feel like you want to do it, perhaps she’s actually controlling your mind with black magic.
Beyoncé Knowles is a clone
It’s the year 2000 and Destiny’s Child are in the process of recording their multiplatinum selling album ‘Survivor’. This, however, is extremely ironic because Bey was killed early on in the year and replaced with a genetically modified clone! At least that’s what one frantic fanatic sharing conspiracy theories on the internet seems to think.
His ‘concrete’ proof is the fact that an image of Beyoncé from 1999 doesn’t seem to mirror a recent shot of the star at this year’s Met Gala.
Now, were not trying to suggest that the ‘Pretty Hurts’ singer has had any work done, but has this dude not heard of celebs having a personal beauty squad? Plus there’s also this crazy thing called ageing whereby the way we look gradually changes as time passes.
Beyoncé faked her pregnancy
After unveiling her bump at the 2011 VMA’s, viewers questioned how Bey was able to perform an intense 14-minute medley complete with dancing, singing and a whole lotta high notes.
Then speculation hit fever pitch after the megastar’s stomach appeared to bend inwards whilst be interviewed for an Australian talk show.
We have to admit this one did have us second-guessing, but then we remembered that Beyoncé is in fact an ancient mystical entity whose body knows no physical boundaries.
Kelly Rowland & Michelle Williams are Beyoncé’s minions
You remember when you used to watch old Destiny’s Child music videos on MTV? Do you ever recall seeing Kelly or Michelle? Nope!
Well that’s because according to an army of Beyoncé haters, the pop star supposedly and allegedly had strict rules and regulations when it came to airtime and vocal distribution. Basically she got it all.
The drama all started when LeToya & LaTavia suddenly quit the band. They were quickly replaced and Bey became public enemy number one to some online. It’s also been rumoured that Beyoncé requested newbies Kelly (real name Kelendria) and Michelle (Tenitria) change their names into something more basic so Beyoncé’s name would immediately stand out.
While it’s hard to believe Bey would go to such extremes just to be the most prominent member of the group, that’s internet conspirators for you.
