No fewer than 650 persons have received free medical screening of HIV/AIDs, typhoid fever, diabetes, eyes and other diseases in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The three-day free medical outreach was sponsored by member representing Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency, Abubakar Sarki-Dahiru. 

Speaking on Sunday, Sarki-Dahiru explained that the rationale behind the programme was to enable the beneficiaries to know their HIV/AIDS status, avert transmission and provide support.
