The Patrons of Modern and Contemporary African Arts (MCAA) has announced the 6th Miniature exhibition to run from March 30 to April 14, 2024. The  announcement was made during a recent press conference at the Arts Hotel, Victoria Island.

Themed “Her-Story Re-framed” and inspired by International Women’s Day, the exhibition aims to empower female artists to share their stories through canvas, reshaping the narrative of African women globally.

Three talented female artists from French-speaking countries will present 20 pieces of art, reclaiming feminine narratives and fostering inclusion.

Additionally, the event will host a chat featuring women in business, finance, and the arts, led by popular Nigerian female artist, Mama Nike.  The discussions will focus on opportunities, funding, art financing, support for women artists, and export potential in art collections, aiming to chart the way forward for the African arts industry.
