Addressing journalists in Abuja on Thursday ahead of the event, Adesina said no fewer than 100 authors contributed to the books including the critics of his former principal.
He said the books would provide insights to why Buhari took certain decisions when he held sway as against the conjectures that were circulated in various quarters.
Daily Trust reports that the book titled Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy 2015-2023, is a five-volume compendium edited by Dr Udu Yakubu, would be unveiled by President Tinubu.
Speaking during the briefing, Dr Yakubu said the main objective of the five-volume compendium was to produce a comprehensive story of the administration of the former President, Muhammadu Buhari.
He told journalists that works on the books started in early 2022, but contributors were brought in towards the end of the year.
According to him, contributors were drawn from academia, the media, research institutes and independent scholars.
He noted that the books are a product of many hands consisting of authors and a robust team of editors, reviewers and administrative assistants, including Ambassador Dr Chijioke Wigwe, the Editorial Coordinator, among many others.
“It was not a mean enterprise, and I am happy that we have arrived at our destination in spite of numerous challenges along the way,” Dr Yakubu said.
