Our Creator, Allah (SWT) has decreed, destined and enunciated 7-point agenda of Kiyaamah Day, i.e. the Day of Judgment. These agendas are a must to each and every one of us, the good, the bad and the ugly. Success and failure depend on our faith, good deeds, sincerity, justice, trust, sacrifice, morality and steadfastness. The leader and the led; pious and mischievous; rich and poor; male and female; knowledgeable and ignorant must be subjected to judgment through this divine infallible 7-point agenda. However, if we achieve all our worldly agendas, they are only important to us only if we utilize and strategize them for achieving the divine 7-point agenda of judgment day. So if we cannot achieve Nigeria’s 7-point agenda, let us struggle to be successful in the divine 7-point agenda of Kiyaamah. These are:
First: Death (Al-Maut); this is certain on every human being. Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Judgment shall he be paid his wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the fire and admitted to paradise, he is indeed successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception. If a believer dies, he is successful while an unbeliever is unsuccessful.
Second: Angels’ Examination (Su’aalul-Malakain); if a person dies, two Angels will come to him in his grave, and ask him four questions, he must answer all. These are: Who is your Lord? What is your religion? What can you say about the final Prophet that was sent to you? And what is your knowledge? Only a true, pious and just person will pass this oral examination.
Third: Measuring our deeds on the Divine Scale (Al-Mizan); and the weighing on that day of resurrection will be the true weighing. So as for those whose scale of good deeds will be heavy, they will be successful by entering Paradise. And for those whose scale will be light, they are those who will lose their own selves by entering hell, because they denied and rejected Allah’s revelations.
Fourth: Distribution of Certificates (Nashru-Aldawaawin wal Kutub); whoever receives his Certificate in his right hand on the Day of Kiyaama will say: “Here! Read my Record! Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my account! So he shall be in a life, well-pleasing, in lofty Paradise”. But whoever receives his Certificate with the left hand, will say: “I wish that I had not been given my record! And that I had never known how my account is! Would that death had been my end! My wealth has not availed me; my power and argument to defend myself have gone”.
Fifth: Verbal Interrogative Judgment (Al-Hisab); during this interrogation on the judgment day, one will be requested to read the book of his deeds, the good, the bad and the ugly deeds. Allah will say unto him, “Read your book. You are sufficient as a reckoner against yourself this Day: whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his own self, and whoever goes astray, then he goes astray to his own loss.
Sixth: Crossing Over a Terrible and Thin Bridge (Assiraad); after interrogation, people will be requested to cross a terrible bridge, under it, is the hell fire of Jahannama; whoever crosses it will enter paradise. There is not one of you but will pass over hell fire: this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished, then Allah will save those who used to fear Him and were dutiful to Him. And He will leave the wrongdoers therein humbled to their knees in hell.
Seventh: Final Abode of Paradise or Hell Fire; when a party will be in paradise, those who believed in Allah and followed what Allah’s messenger brought them, and a party in the blazing fire, those who disbelieved in Allah and followed not what Allah’s messenger brought them.
This is the divine, impeccable and infallible 7-point agenda of Kiyaama, let us strive hard in achieving them all, they are indeed reality and fact, not fallacy. The Prophet says: Fear Allah whenever and wherever you are.
