Illicit drugs recovered from the suspects

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested seven suspects for alleged drug trafficking in the state.
The suspects were apprehended following a police raid on the residence of a suspected drug baroness, popularly known as “Madam Do-Good.”
The command’s spokesperson, Bright Edafe, said the arrests were carried out by police in collaboration with members of the Achalla Ibusa Vigilante Group.
According to Edafe, the combined security team conducted a sting operation on the residence of “Madam Do-Good” in the Power Line Axis of Asaba.
During the raid, four suspects were initially arrested, and a variety of illicit substances were recovered.
Edafe listed the seized substances as Ice (Methamphetamine), Colorado, Canadian Loud, weeds suspected to be Indian Hemp, and Tramadol.
He confirmed that both the suspects and the recovered exhibits are currently in custody while investigations continue.
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
