8 arrested for cultivating hemp in Ekiti
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Ekiti State have arrested eight suspects and recovered 1,465kg of Indian hemp on their farm at Ire-Ekiti in Oye LGA. The Deputy Commandant, Narcotic Operations, Ekiti, Mohammed Ibrahim, led the operation which also saw the destruction of the plantation worth about N5m.
