Two women and seven men have been discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital Isolation facility at Yaba on Tuesday.

The Lagos state ministry of health on Tuesday through its twitter handle revealed that the nine patients were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.

Lagos State government has so far successfully managed and discharged 632 confirmed COVID-19 cases, two people have been evacuated and 16 were transferred while 36 people have died through the disease.

At the moment, there are over 2,500 positive COVID-19 cases in Lagos State.
