Recipients of the ASDAN certificate are Moriam Adedoyin Adeyemi; Chimaroke Godfrey Agbagwa; Chinyere Virginia Anozie; Moniyi Ayoade Adewole; Bolanle Ojo; Ogheneovo Orhotowho; Emmanuella Idiolalia Green; Daniel Chukwuemeka Obidike and Eguono Chidera Irerhime.

At the presentation ceremony, the head of school, Anthos House, Dr. Kimberley Scollard, revealed that the ASDAN certificate obtained by the students can earn them university admission anywhere in the world.

“Our students are smart and hardworking. They do everything that normal schools do, though, our focus is practical and, with the certificate obtained, the students can gain admission into universities abroad but not in Nigeria.”Scollard said, commending the students for their outstanding performance.

The Executive Director of Greensprings Educational Services Ltd, Mrs. Lai Koiki, lauded efforts of teachers at the house, saying, history was made with the award of certificates to students from the House.

The Deputy Director of Education, Dr. Barney Wilson who represented Mrs. Koiki explained that the students were certified after acquiring life skills in relationships, citizenship, responsibilities, and how to comport themselves among others.

The Assistant Principal, Mrs. Tinuke Ogunaike also affirmed that the courses were practical as the students have been busy in the last one year creating lots of crafts and arts.

A parent, Mrs Dupe Ojo, whose daughter, Bolanle Ojo, bagged two certificates, expressed happiness about seeing her daughter become a changed person.

“She wants to be a doctor and my plan is for her to travel abroad for further studies,” she testified while she advised parents with children with special needs not to give up on them, but instead take them to where their potential can be harnessed.
