Managing Director of the company, Mr. Maneesh Mehre said  in a statement at the weekend that the development is worrisome for Nigeria.
He explained that chronic stress occurs all too frequently due to our modern lifestyles, when everything from high-pressured jobs to unemployment keeps the body in a state of perceived threat.
According to him, chronic stress can be caused by redundancy, financial worries or working longer hours.
He said his company has in the meantime commenced nationwide stress management workshop in order to reduce the harmful effect of the disease in Nigeria.
He said: “Stress affects men, women, adolescents and children. It affects the rich as well as the poor. It affects the professor in his Ivory tower as well as the unlettered pepper seller in the market’’.
In order to reduce stress levels, he advised people to engage in adequate rest, eat healthily, engage in exercises  and use of  supplements.
