Nigerians should be vigilant against all reactionary tendencies and support government’s effort in fighting corruption.
While commending President Muhammadu Buhari’s effort in fighting corruption, we condemns the recent call by elder citizens on the President to not waste his time on fighting the deadly cancer of corruption.
Another example of shouting wolf where there is none is the case of the DG Industrial Training Fund ITF, c, whose name some are trying to smear through a pull down syndrome attitude.
The ITF DG, who was appointed in May 2014, has boosted confidence in the Fund such that President Buhari recognized her by including her on his entourage in his recent trip to USA.
In the spirit of raising awareness about the civic responsibilities of citizens, no time spent on fighting corruption is not worth it, we therefore called on the President to support the worthy cause which must be eradicated.
We also call on the media specifically, to be wary of persons of evil forces with huge war chest who would want to use them to achieve their selfish and/or personal ambitions and it is the civic duty of all to work for a better society.
