The group also urged Shettima to pick another running mate from either Goza or Biu local government areas to run in 2015. But if I may ask, why is this group against the progress of their own? Who amongst them can come out clearly to state what Zannah has done to amount to betrayal? We have had a deputy governor from Biu Local Government Area who served under former governor Ali Modu Sherriff for eight years, what has he done to Biu Local Government Area and environs? But for the coming of Shettima and Zannah, a lot has been done in the town with the help of Zanna in this short time of selfless service to humanity. One of the big projects is the reconstruction of Biu General Hospital which everyone is happy about. This is enough for the wise to know that the two are not against each other, but yet these people aren’t satisfied. What do they really want? One may be tempted to ask whose interest is the group representing? What is the political value of the group in Biu and environs? The people behind the group are just making noise out of greed. 
This kind of people should not be allowed to instigate friction in order to distract the cordial relationship between the Governor and his Deputy. It is high time the group back down and join the progressive team instead of creating unnecessary problem in the polity.
Lastly, I am appealing to the good people of Biu to come together and give their support to the winning team of Shettima and Zannah come 2015.
Biu youths who want the progress of our people across Borno state should be optimistic about the transformation efforts of this administration that has sacrificed enough to ensure all of us are happy in the state.
