We heartily congratulate the National Coordinator of the Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria (GOGAN), Chief Felix Idiga, on his winning the Northern Youth Council Award.

The award is in recognition of Chief Idiga’s effort as Convener of Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria which successfully advocated for youth involvement in Nigeria’s politics. The efforts of the group have been acclaimed as one of the most successful movements globally in recent times.

The award also recognised the immense contributions GOGAN have made under his leadership over the past years towards building young people and advocating for good governance with a focus on the credibility of elections in Nigeria.

We rejoice with the pioneer chairman of the GOGAN being one of recipients of the Award organised by the prestigious Northern Youth Council Award 2019, during its annual ceremony in Abuja on Saturday is a rare privilege and acknowledgment of his contribution to youth development in the Northern region and Nigeria as a whole.”

The award to Idiga affirms his commitment to the campaign for youth development, which is one of the focal areas of our President Muhammadu Buhari administration. This also means that the youths appreciate our determination to youths development on the country’s development.

We enjoin all Nigerians in leadership positions to emulate Felix Idiga and see youth development as a must do affair.
