Rangers marksman, Ofoedu is optimistic his side will come out victorious against highly rated Enyimba coached by former international Austin Eguavoen.

The teenager forward, who has scored 10 goals so far this season, is sure of a win for Rangers in Aba.

“Rangers can win in Aba I am sure of that,” began Ofoedu while talking to SuperSport.com.

“It’s going to be a tough game because they are in second place. But we are Rangers and we will give it our best and I am confident because we have a good team to do so.”

Ofoedu also points to the duo of Ifeanyi Ede and Efe Yarhere as players capable of wreaking the ambition of the People’s Elephants to fight for a seventh title.

The striker also relishes playing alongside Ede and Yarhere.

“They are very, very good players. I enjoy playing with Ifeanyi and Efe a lot in matches and even during training. When you have players like them you find games easy and that’s why they give me confidence going into the match against Enyimba.

“But Rangers is not just about the three of us. We also have fantastic players in midfield and in defence and good goalkeepers that can do the job. We are focused on Sunday’s game and we want to win it,” he said.
