The Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, has said his administration will consolidate on the good work he has done if he wins a second term in office next year.

Ajiya stated this after he submitted his nomination and expression of interest forms at the APC FCT secretariat in Abuja, yesterday.

He said he was seeking reelection because his people had assessed his performance in the last two and half years and decided to asked him to go for a second term.

He said his administration had provided water, health care, school instructional materials and road network to the people.

Also speaking, the chairman of the APC in FCT, Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, who was represented by the state vice chairman, Mr. Patrick Ogunyemi, said the party was ever ready to provide a level playing ground to all contestants at the primaries.

He assured that the forthcoming coming primaries would be free and fair, and cautioned aspirants’ supporters against hate speech and campaign of calumny, which he said, sometimes, resulted in violence.
