The New Nigeria Development Company (NNDC) has described the demise of the former Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari, as a great loss, saying he made invaluable contributions and rendered selfless services to the nation.

The NNDC Group Managing Director, Shehu Mai-Bornu, in a condolence letter to President Muhammadu Buhari stated that he received the death of Kyari, a former staff of the NNDC, who died from complications resulting from COVID-19 last Friday “with deep sadness”.

“On behalf of the Board, Management and staff of the New Nigeria Development Company Limited, I wish to convey our heartfelt and sincere condolences to you and to his immediate family on this painful loss,” he stated.

He prayed the Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the president and Kyari’s immediate family the fortitude to bear this loss and for God to grant him Jannatul Firdausi.
