Daily Trust had reported how bandits stormed the village and abducted the nursing mother and five others two weeks. They later contacted their family members and demanded N10million as ransom.
According to the village head of Jigi, Mai Angwa Amos, “She was released on Friday, together with a small boy, after her family paid an undisclosed amount of money as ransom. They are still holding four persons captive,’’ he said.
He said the community was very disturbed by the rising cases of kidnapping in the area.
