The Minister of Interior, Director of SSS and the Inspector General of Police must admit that the problem is beyond their capacity and capability. In other societies by now they would have tendered their resignations or be booted out of office. We would be deceiving ourselves to expect that these people would throw in the towel. Our people would have to take their lives in their own hands. I condemn the abduction and would recommend that the stiffest punishment possible is meted to the criminals if eventually found.
