The abductors of five family members at Bukpe community of Wako Ward in Kwali Area Council of the FCT have demanded N8 million, including two bags of spaghetti, wine and drugs as ransom.
City & Crime had reported that gunmen on Monday night invaded Bukpe and abducted five family members and later killed one in whose house a gun was said to have been found.

A family member of the victims who preferred anonymity said, “They called at about 6pm on Wednesday through the phone of one of the victims and asked for N8m and some foodstuff, including wine and drugs.”
The Village Head of Bukpe, Alhaji Hussaini Shamdozhi, confirmed the ransom demand to City & Crime on Thursday.
He said, “But since that yesterday, (Wednesday) they haven’t called again.”
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, did not reply an SMS on the ransom demand.
