Abduljabbar Surajo Guga, founder of the Guga Global Foundation, will on Saturday, August 23, be honoured with the Humanitarian Service Award at the Nigerian Humanitarian Awards & Magazine Event 2025 in Abuja.

The ceremony, scheduled to hold at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, celebrates individuals and organisations making notable contributions to community development and humanitarian service across Nigeria.

Guga is being recognised for his interventions in education, humanitarian relief, youth development, and community empowerment. Through his foundation, he has supported indigent students with scholarships, provided financial and material aid to vulnerable families, and promoted grassroots initiatives aimed at sustainable growth.

He has also encouraged youth engagement through sports and mentorship programmes.

Organisers of the event said the award highlights Guga’s continued commitment to strengthening communities and advancing social impact in Nigeria.
