Abike-Dibiri warns against anti-people politics

Politicians in Nigeria have been advised not to border contesting for any elective positions if they lack people’s oriented agenda.

A member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) ‎and members of the House of Representative, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency Abike Dabiri Erewa gave the advice in Lagos on Saturday.

According to her, Nigerians are now enlightened and have the right and choice of credible candidates that will truly represent their interests.

She said with the trends in the country’s political environment, it is wise for politicians to always have people at heart.

Meanwhile, the gubernatorial elections went smoothly in most parts of Ikorodu local government with the early arrival of the officials of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) across various polling units.
