Digital real estate platform, Abode Assets Limited, has celebrated its fourth anniversary, highlighting its expansion across 13 countries and growth in asset ownership opportunities for Africans.

Established in May 2022 by Jeffrey Ehikioya and Damilare Oshokoya, the platform was founded to address barriers associated with traditional real estate investment, particularly high entry costs and limited access to ownership opportunities.

Abode also reported an annual asset appreciation rate of 48.7 per cent and said it has recorded more than 200 investor testimonials from users across different regions.

According to the firm, its operations are backed by regulatory compliance through Meristem Securities, with technology and accessibility remaining central to its business model.

Speaking on its growth journey, the platform said expanding access to property ownership has remained a major focus since inception.

It noted that many users have become first-time property owners, while others have created additional income streams through real estate investments.

The platform also highlighted activities within its associate network, stating that members have benefited from reward programmes and sponsored international trips to destinations including Qatar, Kenya, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Founder of W Network, Nifemi Kolade, described Abode as a platform that provided opportunities for personal and professional growth.

“Abode has been much more than a place where I thrive as a realtor, it has been a family,” Kolade said.

“As a recent graduate, financial independence seemed like a distant goal, but being part of the Abode community made the journey easier. I received the support, mentorship, and opportunities I needed to understand the real estate industry and build a career with confidence.”

As part of its long-term plans, Abode said it aims to help one million Africans own, earn and profit from real estate by 2032.
