The event at the Press centre, Radio House, was chaired by former governor of Kano State and serving senator, Malam Kabiru Gaya and had other distinguished personalities as guests.
The two books show the versatility of the author and economist as they reflect his background. Through the Storm is a work of fiction while Stable Growth and Foreign Exchange is an academic work.
Reviewing Through the Storm, which is the story of a man battling the economic odds, writer and editor, Mal. Ibrahim Sheme described the book as remarkable and chatty and recommended it to lovers off arts and literature.
On his part, Prof.Onyiola Olaniyi reviewing Stable Economic Growth and Foreign Exchange said it is evident the writer, an economist by training is preoccupied with economics in both his creative and academic work, saying the book contains a gold mine of knowledge that would prove vital in the present economic crises the world is witnessing.
The books were unveiled by Mr. Tony Elumelu supported by the author himself, Senators Kabiru Gaya and Chris Ngige and others.
