The presentation scheduled for Thursday May 24 at GSS Minna will be done to honour the longest serving principal in Niger State, Rev. Father O’Connel A, who reportedly inherited GSS Minna from his parents before it was made a public school. He has been serving as principal since the mid 60s.

Former president, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and Niger State Governor Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu are billed to grace the occasion.

The books a A Matter of Faith, Thoughts of Yesterday and Conversations from the Letter-box which is dedicated to the late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua, the former Nigerian president and classmate, roommate and teammate of Gimba, who is the economic adviser of the Senate president, David Mark.

A Matter of Faith hoists the tenets of Islam to correct the misdemeanor altering the indoctrination. It further frowns at the faithfuls’ hypocrisy and unwholesomeness in the service to Allah and therefore calls for a religious re-engineering.

Conversations from the Letter-box is an epistolary book addressed to readers that Gimba dubbed his father, brother, son, daughter, mother and the Muslim fundamentalists while Thoughts of Yesterday is a collection of 22 essays addressing issues ranging from politics, democracy, environment, literature, unity, Africa before the whole world, war, history and women.
