The Agora of Zuba in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT, Alhaji Mohammed Bello Umar, has turbaned Alhaji Mohammed Kasim as the new district head of Zumwa under his chiefdom.

Also turbaned were Alhaji Hussaini Salihu as district head of Ikwa, and Alhaji Aliyu Tanko as the village head of Surubu as well as Alhaji Isah Dahiru as the village head of Ikwa.

Speaking during the coronation ceremony at Zuba on Saturday, the monarch charged both the district and village heads to ensure peace and harmony in their domains.

Also speaking, chairman, Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Abubakar Jibrin Giri, said the appointments of the district and village heads were part of his promise to create more districts

He also urged them to continue to maintain the norms and traditions of their subjects.
