FCT Minister Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has charged the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) to collaborate with other relevant agencies and the private sector to attack the menace of drug abuse in the society.
He made the charge when a delegation from the council led by the chairman of its governing council, Prof Ahmed Tijjani Mora, paid a courtesy visit to him.
He pledged the collaboration of the FCTA with the PCN, especially in the activities of the council’s Pharmaceutical Inspection Committee.
Speaking earlier, Prof Mora commended the FCT Administration for its robust approach to drug distribution within the territory.
Okada rider docked over theft of church musical instruments
An Osogbo Chief Magistrate Court on Wednesday ordered the remand of a 32-year-old commercial motorcyclist, Tunde Adeniyi, who allegedly stole church musical instruments worth N1 million.
The chief magistrate, Dr Olusegun Ayilara, ordered that the defendant be kept at the Ilesa Correctional Centre.
Adeniyi had pleaded not guilty to a two-count charge of stealing. (NAN )
