Abuja Literary Festival calls for entries

The Abuja Writers Forum is seeking submissions from potential playwrights between the ages of 18 and 35 who are interested in participating in the five-day drama workshop during the Abuja Literary Festival, scheduled for June.

The workshop which will be facilitated by two experienced theatre practitioners, is part of a strategy to encourage the development of new qualitative play scripts.

According to the organizers who strongly encourage students in the tertiary institutions within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to participate, there will be space for only 25 participants.

The workshop is non-residential, so participants must arrange for accommodation within the period if they are not resident in Abuja. Interested applicants can find more information at the Abuja Writers website.
