Addressing newsmen in Bauchi yesterday, Mai’auduga said in spite of the supports they received from President Jonathan for the success of the party in the forthcoming general elections, the Abuja politicians opened a parallel campaign organisation instead of joining the PDP state campaign council headed by Governor Isa Yuguda.
He said the state campaign council would welcome efforts by Vice President Namadi Sambo to reconcile state’s leaders of the party and the Abuja politicians.
He appealed to Jonathan to intervene and bring the Abuja politicians to order for the success of the party in the state.
Mai’auduga said the party has inaugurated a campaign council with respected people as members, going round the state to campaign for all PDP candidates, wondering why a parallel campaign organisation would be operated.
He added that if the Abuja politicians refused to join the state campaign council and work together, they would ask the leadership of the party to take adequate disciplinary measures against them.
