A House of Representatives aspirant for Abuja South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Hon. Kamal Adamu Shuaibu, has resigned his membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Shuaibu announced his resignation in a letter dated April 21, 2026, addressed to the APC ward chairman of North-East Ward in Abaji Area Council.
He said his decision was informed by what he described as the absence of internal democracy within the party.
Meanwhile, it was reliably gathered that the aspirant has joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), where he is expected to pursue his ambition to represent Abuja South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election.
