The authorities of Merry Bell Academy Jikwoyi, Abuja are to introduce a mobile library to offer the resources and services needed to fulfill students’ information needs.
The director, Mrs Gloria Jeremiah, said at the 5th Annual Graduation Speech and Prize Giving Day that when established, the library would provide variety of resources to improve student skills, as well as welcome public use of its books and services.
She said the objective of the academy was to “offer good and qualitative education to children at an affordable cost irrespective of creed, background and race and promote social norms, values and moral in the child.”
The school has also admitted two pupils with special education needs, she said.
Also, the school administrator, William Tei Narh, said the school has installed internet facilities, introduced music and French classes as well as Home Makers Club, where pupils are taught to make body creams and liquid soaps.
The secondary section for the school would be opened in September, he said.
