The FCT chapter of the Sesame Seeds Traders Association of Nigeria (SSTAN) has called on the federal government to support the association with a grant in order to enhance production of the seeds in the territory.

The vice chairman of the association, Alhaji Abdulyakeen Hassan, made the call while speaking with our reporter at sesame seeds market in Kwali yesterday, saying the association has over 150 members but lack of government support has been a major challenge.

He said over 150 trailers come into the market every harvest season to load sesame seeds to other parts of the country.
