An education consultant in Abuja, Ibrahim Mustapha, has said that Abuja South Federal Constituency needs somebody like Joseph Shazhin for quality representation.

Mustapha, who spoke with City News said, “If achievements in office and delivery of democratic dividends are still the criteria for seeking elective positions, then the aspiration of Hon. Joseph Shazin, the current chairman of Kwali Area Council, for the House of Representatives in 2019 to represent Abuja South is legitimate and deserves the support of all and sundry.”

He said during Shazhin’s first tenure as chairman,  he ensured regular payment of salaries  and also executed projects across the area council.

“His administration also made tremendous interventions in the education sector with rehabilitation and equipping of schools.

“Similarly, road infrastructure in the area was given attention while bridges were constructed. He used his position as chairman of Kwali to transform the area and made significant impact on the lives of the residents via several people-oriented projects which have made the area council a shining example of how a local government can perform in the interest of the majority of the people,” he added.
