Abuja Talk Series coming up soon

Impact Speaks a non-profit community of young adults involved in organizing and encouraging conversations around social issues for positive change is set to host this year’s edition of the Abuja Talk series.  

The programme convened by  a poet and social entrepreneur, Valentine Onyeka Ogunaka (Brainbox),  and a lawyer, Ayoola Emmanuel  is tagged ‘Not To Young To Run Event’ and it is  slated for the third Saturday in September at Rukkayat Plaza in Abuja. 

According to Valentine this will serve as a platform to bring the intellectual community together with renowned social commentators and a curious audience a talk around various topical issues driving the Nigerian life. 

Valentine explaining why the reason for the theme said says “we felt since the passage of the bill and the nationwide jubilation that followed, there has been a need to sustain conversations surrounding the it.”

Blogger and Political commentator, Japheth Omojuwa; Youth and Social Activist, Hamzat Lawal; Economist and 2019 presidential aspirant, Tope Fasua; Ace performance poet, Bash Amuneni and former curator of Abuja Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, Saadatu Fali Aliyu are expected to speak at the event.
