A release signed by Deaconess Linda Olisa-Middleton, Chief Executive Officer of African Theatrical Project Ltd. said, “The Festival and Expo are a practical approach in building cross-cultural understanding: among its sideline effect is the capacity to attract international investors to Nigeria, thus assisting in promoting economic growth and friendship. The event will also strongly address ways of bridging the information gap about Nigeria’s Socio-Culture Values, especially within the context of Nigeria’s role in the global market.”

Middleton also stated that the event is not only showcasing the best of our culture to the world, but using such to correct some negative impressions about Nigeria and bringing together Nations Representatives in our midst.” This, she said,  is predicated on the need for the world to appreciate and respect the culture of each member country.

The annual event which is the sixth in the series is tagged Colours of our culture International Festival & Expo and will hold from the 4th to 5th of September at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton.
