Lectures were on at some faculties even though new students were yet to commence lectures as mandatory registration exercises are still ongoing for them.
At some faculties, it was observed that new students and returning students were busy converting their e-transacts into receipts as prerequisite for registration.
A 400 level student at the university, Kelechi Okorie, said although allocation of rooms at hostels is still on, returning students have commenced lectures in some faculties.
He said that the new students are expected to commence their lectures soon.
“I have looked forward to this day upon gaining admission in September last year. I am happy that we have resumed.”
For Benjamin Onwubiko of Department of Medicine and Surgery, he was elated to resume.
On his part, Ebuka Onyekachi, a 400 level Medical Laboratory Science student said he was anxious to start receiving lectures in his new level.
