Academy celebrates class of 2025, marks academic year

Sylvastar Academy has rounded off a remarkable academic year with the convocation of its Class of 2025, celebrating three successful cohorts and a year widely described as transformative for emerging real estate professionals across the country.

The real estate Academy, an initiative of the Sylvastar Group through its subsidiary, Sylvastar Residences, reported record participation, exceptional performance, and rising influence in Nigeria’s real estate training space.

Presenting the official Academy Report at the 2025 Sylvastar Legacy Gala, which marked the company’s end-of-year activities, Mr Martin Eyube reaffirmed the institution’s core vision, noting that “Our unshakable mission is to transform ordinary individuals into extraordinary leaders in the real estate industry.” He went on to add that beginning from next year 2026, this free Real Estate Academy, would become an extension of the newly launched Sylvacare foundation, which is the social impact arm of the Sylvastar Group.

The 2025 academic cycle comprised three major cohorts. The Pioneer Cohort, held from April 22nd to 25th, focused on building personal brands through the theme “How to Build a Personal Brand That Sells.” According to Mr. Eyube, the session charted the path for the Academy’s success, stressing that “The Pioneer Cohort set the tone for what would become a historic year for the Academy.”

The Trailblazer Cohort in July deepened participants’ skills in digital strategy, negotiation, and sales under the theme “Mastering Real Estate Sales & Marketing,” while the Visionary Cohort in November wrapped up the year with leadership-focused training on strategic decision-making and technology-driven real estate trends.

The Academy reported strong participation across its programs. From thousands of registered learners, an average of 42.3 percent remained actively engaged throughout the training, with more than 6,185 combined YouTube views of lesson videos contributing to an “Excellent” Average Engagement Score and an “Extremely High” Student Satisfaction Rating.

According to the Academy’s report, a number of participants closed their first real estate deals within weeks of completing the foundational sessions. Graduating students from this free Academy who accessed personalised dashboards, daily assessments, and mentorship from CEOs and industry experts were formally presented to the Academy’s Chancellor and Group Managing Director, Dr Seth Sylvester, during the convocation ceremony.

In his address at the Gala, the Group Managing Director and Sylvastar Academy Chancellor, Dr. Seth Sylvester commissioned the graduands of the academy’s class of 2025 saying, “go forth as agents of lasting growth, use your influence with integrity, use your voice with purpose, and let every family you touch be better because they met you”. “Alongside all those who have poured from their wealth of knowledge and wisdom into you, I believe in the limitless potential that you carry for closing deals and ensuring generational wealth”. He further added.

Reflecting on the impact of the year, Mr. Eyube declared that the Academy, though free, had successfully produced a new generation of real estate leaders. “This year, Sylvastar Academy has not only trained professionals, but it has also shaped visionaries, empowered entrepreneurs, and raised leaders who will influence the real estate ecosystem for years to come,” he said. Addressing the Chancellor, he added, “Sir, your students are ready.”
