Accreditation of voters has commenced in Damaturu and other parts of Yobe State.

Our correspondent who went round displaced peoples camps observed that voters queued up for screening as early as 6:00am.

Our correspondent gathered that two out of the about 40 card readers deployed at the IDPs camp in Phase 1 recorded hitches but INEC experts are working to rectify them.

One of the IDP voters, Alhaji Goni Katarko, said he joined the cue as early as 5:40 am.

But at Goni Baba unit (012) in Damaturu central, the INEC officials had not arrived at the time of filing this report.
