The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has called on Senate President Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan and Speaker of the House of Representative Femi Gbajabiamila to bring their wealth of experiences and leadership qualities to bear in the making of good legislations and effective oversight functions for good governance.

A statement signed by the ACF National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim Biu yesterday in Kaduna, appealed to the 9th National Assembly to evolve a road map that would bring about a society where politics, economics and morality would intersect for a ceaseless and consciously directed socioeconomic development.

The statement noted that ACF is confident that Senator Lawan and Rt. Hon Gbajabiamila, both astute and dogged politicians, would provide the needed cordial atmosphere  between the National Assembly and the presidency for the smooth implementation of their party’s manifestos for the good of all Nigerians, while at the same time upholding the independence of the legislature.
