The meeting which was attended by all members and chaired by the BOT Chairman Alhaji Adamu Fika, received a brief submitted by the Chairman of its NEC and co-Chairman of the Northern Delegates Forum (NDF) Ibrahim Coomassie on the performance of the Northern Delegates at the on-going National Conference.
National Publicity Secretary of the forum Mohammad Ibrahim said the meeting commended the efforts of all the Northern delegates who stood in firm defence of issues concerning the corporate existence of Nigeria and the place of the North in the Nigerian project and urged the delegates to continue to “uphold the positions taken so far on all issues especially with regard to Resource control, Revenue sharing and the place of the Local Government system in the Nigerian Constitution.”
