A Delta-based peace and development advocate, Comrade Mulade Sheriff, has called on residents of the state to rescue it from its present economic woes by voting for credible leaders in the coming 2023 elections.

He stated this in Abuja yesterday while addressing a cross-session of Delta youths to mark the International Youth Day.

According to him, the oil-rich Delta is sinking economically due to poor leadership and bad governance over the years.

He, therefore, urged the youths in the state to vote for candidates with technical knowledge of community development, leadership qualities, youth and women development plans in next year’s elections.
