Activist: Tinubu’s ADC attracting empowerment projects to Kwara community

Rights activist, Salahudeen Lukman, has commended President Bola Tinubu’s Aide-De-Camp, Colonel Nurudeen Yusuf, who is also the Elemona of Ilemona, Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State, for his role in facilitating and commissioning the Ilemona Kara and Livestock Market.

Lukman also commended the monarch for the distribution of vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles, and other empowerment tools worth millions to uplift the people of Ilemona and its environs.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said the traditional ruler has “proven to be a great blessing to Ilemona, Oyun Local Government, and Kwara South through his commitment to grassroots development.”

He urged more leaders to take inspiration from this act of community development and economic empowerment.

The statement said: “I express our profound appreciation for his role in facilitating and commissioning the Ilemona Kara and Livestock Market, alongside the distribution of vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles, and other empowerment tools worth millions to uplift the people of Ilemona and its environs.
