Activists hold rally against Zamfara killings

 

Renowned activists and civil society organisations will today in Abuja hold a rally to protest against the rising  organised killings and kidnappings across the country, especially in Zamfara State and parts of the North.

Nigerians in the United Kingdom also held a rally in London yesterday over the Zamfara killings.

According to one of the organizers and Senior Fellow, Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), Prof. Jibrin Ibrahim, the Abuja rally will take place at the Unity Fountain.

In Twitter exchanges, a social commentator, Gimba Kakanda, popular journalist, media entrepreneur and television personality, Kadaria Ahmed and other Nigerians in the UK under the #MarchForZamfara protest protested at the Nigerian High Commission.
