Dr. Abba Idris Adam, the Provost, Atiku Abubakar College of Legal and Islamic Studies, Nguru, Yobe State, has bagged the Most Distinguished Diamond Merit Award. The event tagged “The Outstanding Provost of Integrity in Africa,” was organized by TransAfrica Links (Africa and Overseas), Dublin.

Speaking at the ceremony in Jos, Plateau State, the representative of the organizers, Dr. Amaechi Nzekwe, said the event was meant to honour some distinguished Nigerians, who had made remarkable contributions in various fields of endeavour.

He described Dr. Adam as one of the emerging astute education administrators in Nigeria, as evident in his dedicated and outstanding services in transforming the college he heads.
