The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports suggesting that Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) has been suspended from the party.
In a statement issued by the party’s state leadership, led by Barrister Idris Shuaibu, the APC described the reports as the work of mischief-makers aiming to derail ongoing efforts to resolve internal issues and foster unity among members in the state.
The party confirmed receiving a written statement from Yola South Local Government, which categorically refuted the claims of Senator Binani’s suspension. The statement reaffirmed her status as a bona fide member and a significant stakeholder in the Adamawa APC.
“The news is entirely false and malicious. It is the handiwork of individuals intent on creating discord within the party,” the statement read.

The APC further disclosed that the National Vice Chairman (North East) has initiated a discreet investigation to identify the perpetrators behind the fake news. The party has warned of impending disciplinary measures and potential legal actions against those responsible for sowing confusion within its ranks.
The party called on its members and the general public to disregard the false information and continue supporting efforts aimed at strengthening the unity and progress of the APC in Adamawa State.
