A stakeholder in the All Progressive Congress APC from Adamawa state, Abdurrahman Buba Kwaccaham, has declared for the senate to represent Adamawa North Senatorial District.
Kwaccham, said he was reacting to the reported planned defection of the Adamawa state governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to the APC and eventual take over the party leadership in the state.
The APC stalwart who holds the title of Sarkin Fulani of Mubi made this known during a press briefing Thursday in Abuja.
Kwaccham hails from the same Adamawa North Senatorial zone as Fintiri who is expected to contest for the senate position under APC banner.

The Sarkin Fulani said he has nothing to worry about as according to him, the APC constitution has now empowered its members to produce party candidates in primary election, while delegate election was completely voided.
“My primary concern is based on a plan to sideline all the party stakeholders in the state, in the event of the Fintiri decamping, and handover the party leadership to the same characters that make them political orphans, almost in about 8 years now.
