The Adamawa State Executive Council has approved N40.6 billion for the ongoing superhighway project, stretching from the Federal Government Girls’ College (FGGC) Yola to AA Lawan junction via Rumde Kila.
The state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mrs Neido Geoffrey Kufoltu, disclosed this Monday after the council’s meeting at the government house, Yola, the state capital.
She said the N40.6bn allocation included an additional N18.8 billion as variation for extra work required on the project.

Kufoltu said in addition to the highway project, the council also approved over N4.7 billion for the completion of an ultra-modern stadium, indicating the state’s commitment to enhancing sports infrastructure.
