The governor of Adamawa state and gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Muhammadu Jibrilla refused to talk to the press after casting his vote at Polling Unit 001 at Kofan Dangaladima in Kolere Ward in Mubi North.
Journalists who waited at the polling unit were disappointed when an aide said ” no interview, no interview” while the governor was ushered in to a vehicle.
” Some of us are visiting journalists from far away, we really expected him to make some comments about the election process and his expectations after he voted,” a journalist lamented.
However, a source close to the governor who did not want his name published said the governor was not in good mood at the moment but would talk to the press later in the day.
