Adamawa Government Completes 5.8km Maiha Township Roads

The government of Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has completed the construction of the 5.8-kilometre Maiha Township roads, in a move aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving connectivity within communities in Adamawa State.

The project, located in Maiha, was executed in line with approved engineering standards to ensure durability and long-term service.

According to officials, the road construction includes a standard laterite base, proper priming, and a five-centimetre asphalt layer, as well as well-designed drainage systems to protect the road from erosion and extend its lifespan.

The project forms part of the state government’s broader infrastructure development drive across several local government areas.

With the completion of the Maiha Township roads, residents are expected to benefit from improved mobility, enhanced economic activities, and better living conditions, as the road network will facilitate easier movement of people, goods, and services within the community and its surrounding areas.
